By using our website or submitting a booking request, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you submit a ride request or contact us, we collect the details you provide, which may include:

• Your name and phone number
• Your email address (if provided)
• Pickup city and, where you provide it, pickup/destination details
• Appointment type (e.g., dialysis, treatment, specialist visit) and whether wheelchair-accessible transport is needed
• Preferred date/time and any notes you choose to share about mobility aids or special requirements

We collect this information so we can arrange and confirm your transportation. Because it can relate to a medical appointment or mobility need, we treat it as sensitive and handle it with care.

We also automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and referral/campaign parameters (for example UTM tags or a Facebook click identifier) when you interact with our site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request and schedule, confirm, and provide your transportation
• To contact you by phone or email about your booking
• To keep records of service requests and improve our service

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate our service, including with:

• Our dispatch and transportation team, to arrange your ride.
• Service providers that operate our tools, such as our website host (Vercel), our email delivery provider (Resend), and, if enabled, a private spreadsheet log (Google) — solely to process your request on our behalf.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), for advertising measurement, as described below.
• Authorities or others when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of EasyCare Transit, our riders, or the public.

Advertising and analytics (Meta Pixel & Conversions API)

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to understand how visitors reach our site from our ads and to measure actions such as submitting a booking request or tapping to call. To help match these actions to an ad while protecting your privacy, contact details such as your email address and phone number are irreversibly hashed (encrypted) before being sent to Meta — we do not send Meta your raw email or phone number. Meta may use this information in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings.

These tools use cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling them may affect how the site functions.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal requirements, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by reaching out using the details below. We will respond in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults arranging transportation. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
